MANAGER, CLINICAL AND TECHNICAL (JOB ID: 704)

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL

PREFERRED

Education

–       Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent qualification (minimum three (3) year course), is required

–      Master’s degree in Biomedical Science/Healthcare /Management/Administration field is preferred

Experience

–      Minimum of six (6) years clinical experience in an accredited clinical laboratory environment by CAP or JCIA or Canadian Hospital or CPAC Clinical Pathology Accreditation (UK) or local experience in any accredited HAAD hospital, with at least two (2) years in a position as a laboratory supervisor, is required

–      For UAE Nationals: minimum of three (3) years relevant experience in an acute care hospital and minimum of one (1) year as a manager or supervisor, or equivalent, is required

–      Minimum of  two (2) years in a laboratory supervisory position, is required

–      Evidence of progressive leadership and management experience in a clinical position is required

–      Knowledge of clinical laboratory procedures and methodologies

–      Knowledge of accreditation and regulatory standards

Certification and Licensure

–        Current national license (or equivalent) is required

–      Strong oral and written communication skills is required
