- Update ALDAR legal compliance register, risk register and related Occupational Safety and Health Management System “OSHMS” formats, elements and appendixes to meet (Abu Dhabi Occupational Safety and Health Centre & ISO 45001) OSHAD legal requirements and implement ALDAR OSH Management system. This including compliance to succeed OSHAD audits and dealing with authority and third parties to close out the pending issues.
- Review the trend analysis of unsafe acts and unsafe condition and all incidents and decide whether the existing arrangements are adequate or additional control measures are applicable.
- Review and approve activities specific risk assessments along with approved method statement. This including producing safe working procedures and generate new risk assessment.
- Participate in all OSH proactive monitoring programme e.g., management walk, office and site inspection, site meeting, authority visit, internal and external audits, monitoring the OSH objectives and targets etc. and issue all required OSH reports.
- Organise and cover all OSH requirements related to management review meeting and necessary implementation of new legal and Project requirements.
- Conduct regular compliance audit on all involved parties to ensure effective implementation of ALDAR OSH management system and full compliance ALDAR OSHMS elements and related appendixes.
- Produce, review and approve OSH documents e.g., emergency evacuation and rescue plans, Lifting plans, OSH Alerts, OSH plan, OSH prequalification etc. this including participating in collecting and preparing any OSH report e.g. OSH sustainability data, OSH monthly dashboard, annual report etc.
- Maintain and update the tracking register to the following records: Inspection and close out report, Audit and close out report, ALDAR OSH Management Walk and close out report, Serious OSH incident and non-serious OSH incident along with evidence of incident notification for authority, OSH Enforcement Notice and close out, Risk Register etc.
- Follow up with PMC, Consultants and Principal contractor to close out outstanding issues and submit the monthly OSH Reports as per the approved calendar and review in line with ALDAR OSHMS requirements & gather all required OSH data for all reports prior to obtain an approval.
- Review each project Monthly OSH Proactive monitoring Programme for full compliance with ALDAR OSHMS requirements and necessary implementation by PMC, Consultants and Principal contractor and obtain approval.
- Attend periodic OSH meetings and committee meetings on each project to debate the site wide issues as per ALDAR OSHMS.
- Give effective support to cover all projects by Monitoring contractor compliance with OSH rules and guidelines and daily site visits.
- Report all major non-compliance infractions to the line manager and project delivery team and set up appropriate action plan for close out.
- Evaluate the performance of approved OSH representative and recommend where improvements are required or replacement.
- Plan for regular OSH campaigns across all ALDAR developments and engage authorities where required for participation.
- Tracking all new legal requirements, changes and advise all involved parties for full compliance
- Follow up with authorities and other stakeholders regarding all OSH issues for full compliance this including ensuring the OSHMS is in line with ISO 45001 and OSHAD-SF and dealing with them in case of incident or site visit/audits e.g., OSHAD, Abu Dhabi Municipalities, Civil Defence. Dealing with external parties in monitoring performance and creating scope of work and budge review.
Tracking all OSH documents/records belong to all projects on existing ALDAR QHSE platform to ensure all projects are fully compliance for continual improvement or any other ALDAR system

RELATED YEAR OF EXPERIENCE
Min of 8+ years of experience in OSH management with large developer or a construction firm.
SECTOR EXPERIENCE
OSH function in a developer or construction (PMC or Consultant).
TECHNICAL AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
- Strong knowledge and exposure to the GCC real estate market and local/national OSH rules and regulations
- Experienced in contractor assessment and qualification regarding OSH requirements
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities required for managing project quality compliance across multiple projects;
- Fluent in English excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor degree in OSH or NEBOSH level 06 Diploma /NVQ level 5 or above in Health and Safety.
- NEBOSH Level 3 Certificate
- ISO 45001 lead auditor and OSHAD Garde A or B card or at least the OSH Practioner course (ADVETI)
