Guide for Visitors in EXPO 2020 DUBAI

EXPO Timings

Expo 2020 Dubai will run from October 1, 2021, to March 31, 2022, after which the site is planned for a major urban project known as District 2020.

You can visit the fair on all seven days of the week. From Saturday to Wednesday, the timings are 10am to 12am (midnight); on Thursday and Friday, from 10am to 2am (midnight).

COVID-19 safety measures

Entry Requirements

Please do not visit Expo 2020 if you are suffering from any health symptoms associated with COVID-19, if you have been in close contact with an individual confirmed as COVID-19 positive, or are under any quarantine/self-quarantine orders.

Visitors ages 18 and above must present proof of any vaccine recognised by their national government or a negative PCR test taken within the previous 72 hours.

Non-vaccinated ticket-holders who have not been tested within this period can use the testing facility adjacent to the Expo 2020 site. It takes around four hours to get the results. The PCR test will be free of charge on presentation of any valid Expo 2020 ticket.

 The 50-page booklet also contains designs and pictures of

How to reach Expo 2020

The Expo 2020 venue is located in the Dubai South district, falling just south of Dubai Investments Park (DIP). The 438-hectare site is about a 34-minute ride from the Dubai International Airport (DXB), and only 20 minutes away from Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC).

Metro

 

A dedicated track known as Route 2020 on the Red Line will now take you directly to the Expo 2020 Metro Station, located at the mouth of the site.

Bus

Two-hundred-and-three ‘Expo Rider’ public buses are free of cost for visitors boarding from and to Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. These colourful buses pick you up from 18 designated stations and drop you off directly at one of the three Thematic District gates (Sustainability, Opportunity and Mobility) – make sure to wait at the same gate for a ride back.

Taxis

You can book your ride easily through car-hailing apps such as DTC, Careem and Uber.
