The Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) announces the opening of registrations for the Deep Learning Camp for university students, which will be held virtually from 18 to 20 August. The MBRSC Deep Learning Camp is an intensive 3-days program for university students intended to teach all about deep learning, and its applications in satellite imagery. The camp is a prominent venue for university students, where it will offer a chance to study the essential and innovative aspects of deep learning. The camp includes two parts “Theory” and “Practice”, in addition to a hackathon competition with valuable incentive! The camp starts with identifying what is deep learning and its applications, focusing on satellite imagery object detection. The practical part includes strong application of deep learning using python with google colab covering three areas: labelling, training and detection.

Learning outcomes include familiarize with deep learning and artificial intelligence concepts, Learn how to utilize satellite images and learn to label, train and detect from satellite images dataset. Pre-requisites Skills includes math, programming (Python) and image processing.The virtual camp will have theoretical and practical sessions about remote sensing and satellite imagery analysis conducted by experts from MBRSC. Registration Fee 300 AED. Registration & Submission of University Transcript start from July 30th and end on 12th August 2020. Payment duration is on 13th to 15th August 2020.Camp start on 18th August 2020 and end on 20th August 2020.
