Abu Dhabi Sports Council issues precautionary measures for community sports events in Abu Dhabi including running, cycling, open-water swimming, marine and triathlon activities. Event registration is only through the ADSC Website. Children under 12, adults over 60 and people with chronic diseases are not permitted to participate. All participants must undergo a COVID-19 test. To receiving kits, devices, and equipment for the events, will specify a pick up for location & Provide race numbers to participants 72 hours before the event start. Participants arriving from outside Abu Dhabi emirate may collect the numbers assigned to them on the day of the event after presenting e-mail verification of registration. Separate entrances and exits allocated at event venues. Present a negative COVID-19 test result to enter the venue and undergo temperature check. 2m spacing markers installed and also have separate start and finish line designated. For participants health and safety, wearing face masks and gloves, Maintain 2m physical distancing are mandatory, Personal water bottles to be used and Shaking hands between participants/ organizers are prohibited. The event venue will undergoes Continuous cleaning and sterilization at all areas and facilities. The Spectators and the sharing of personal belongings between participants or organizers are also not permitted. There will be designated areas for collecting medals for the winners.
