Abu Dhabi City Municipality Completed the replacement of lighting on Abu Dhabi – Dubai and Abu Dhabi to Sweihan roads with LED lights.The Municipality installed a total of 2,530 LED lights to reduce the use of energy by 70% in line with international sustainability standards. 1,094 LED lights were installed on the Abu Dhabi – Dubai road and 1,436 LED lights to on the Abu Dhabi – Sweihan road. In addition, 549 lighting poleswere installed to enhance road safety.This project is a part of the municipality’s strategy to adopt international best practices to reduce the use of energy.
