Program Manager, NASC Labor Planning and Solutions


Amazon is looking for a customer-obsessed program manager with a strong track record of delivering results and proven project management experience to lead the reporting and analytics team for NASC Labor Planning and Solutions org. In this role, this individual will also establish network reporting standards and drive standard reports adoption through the network. A higher degree of operational complexity is evolving as the network continues to grow. This position will be critical in ensuring the reporting the business as the network continues to grow and innovate.

This individual will know how to be scrappy but operate as part of a larger team and business. The role requires innovative thinking balanced with a strong customer and operational focus. This individual will need to develop new processes, leveraging the best and creating the rest. High judgement, ability to influence, analytical ability, exceptional communication skills and leadership are essential for success in this role. The leader must be able to dive deep into the details of the business, operations, and engineering.

Responsibilities include:
· Own the reporting and analytics charter for NASC Labor Planning and Solutions Team
· Determine the labor planning network standard reports to measure performance which include but not limited to productivity, attendance, attrition, etc.
· Willingness to implement reporting and inputs generation for the new labor planning system
· Work closely with operations, HR, and labor planning teams to develop standard reporting for Prime and Peak planning cycles
· Collaborating with cross-functional partners to understand labor planning metrics needs across the org and facilitating availability of the same
· Driving continuous improvement projects to improve efficiency and accuracy of the labor planning process

· Demonstrated analytical and quantitative modeling skills, and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases

· Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding the product and our business


· Completed Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Transportation Logistics, or related field) from an accredited university
· 3+ years of progressive responsibility in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation or related field with proven ability to influence without authority as an individual contributor
· Ability to communicate effectively across levels, including ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences
· Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional programs
· Strong data mining, data analysis and problem solving skills
· Intermediate expertise with SQL, Tableau, MS Excel, Access and SharePoint
· Ability to travel +/- 25%


· Experience optimizing for short-term execution while planning for long-term technical capabilities
· Experience driving multiple products through a complete life cycle
· Independently driven, resourceful, and able to deliver results with minimal direction
· Demonstrated leadership skills with proven ability to take on and create new assignments
· Advanced problem solving and root cause analysis combined with proven ability to communicate those analysis
· Strong analytical and quantitative skills; experience using data and metrics to test theories, confirm assumptions, and measure success
