Education Level: Diploma in Vocational / TESDA / Industrial Training Institute (ITI) is an advantage. Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC)
Main Scope:
- To program, set-up, and operate feeder shop machines (cut-to-length, shearing, punch-press, laser, power-press, notching, bending, etc) in producing parts required in the assembly line.
Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years’ experience as Machine Operator in HVAC manufacturing or related industry.
- Can read and understand engineering drawing.
- Familiar with measuring instruments.
- Good verbal and written communication in English is an advantage.

Knowledge
- Computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) & basic programming skills for various machine operations and applications.
- Knowledgeable in practical application of principles, procedures, & techniques in HVAC production of various goods and services.
- Knowledgeable in HVAC machines and tool’s operation, usage, maintenance, and designs
Duties, Responsibilities & Authorities
- Understand the given work for the shift and as per the given instruction by the chargehand/ foreman.
- Set up the machine at the beginning of shift to ensure it is properly working.
- Maintain in appropriate order and clean the machines and tools before and after each shift.
- Troubleshoot problems during machine operation
- Perform safety checks on every machine
- Perform testing procedures to ensure that machine work optimally during the production and adopt quality check parameters and check visually at each stage for visible abnormality.
- Ensure that machines are producing quality products by managing periodic checks on output
- Ensure stocks of needed materials are always ready and available
- Create and maintain activity logs
- Provide relevant information regarding progress to Chargehand / Foreman
- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms
- Report immediately to chargehand/foreman any unsafe working condition noticed in the working area or on machine.
- Identify and report to the chargehand/foreman material in progress, completed, rejection accordingly.
- Reports for work “on-time”.
- Achieves production targets by performing operation in the given time.
- Wear Protective Preventive Equipment (PPE) in the work area at all times.
- Maintains a high level of safety at all times.
- Maintains clean working environment by complying with company procedures, rules, and regulation
