We are a major mechanical and electrical service provider for gas compression / power generation equipment in the energy and resources sectors.

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an Inventory and Logistics Specialist at our Eagle Farm Head Office. Working with the Senior Management Team, Branch Managers, Global Supply Chain network and with the support of our dynamic Supply Chain team, the role of Inventory and Logistics Specialist is to manage and drive inventory management, deliver exceptional analysis of inventory movement and monitor freight and logistics trends for optimal business results.

Duties within the role will include:

• Implement supply chain processes under a continuous improvement methodology to increase internal productivity, service levels and provide flexibility in Enerflex’s delivery to market
• Liaise with customers, branch staff, suppliers and logistics providers to execute significant customer demand
• Manage day-to-day supply chain tasks with a key focus on achieving high levels of internal and external customer service
• Manage inventory through regular inventory reporting and deep-dive analysis
• Maintain parts pricing and margin setting on SAP

The ideal candidate must have:

• Minimum five years in a similar role within Heavy Manufacturing/Oil and Gas parts environment
• Demonstrated success in inventory management in a complex environment
• Strong SAP experience and knowledge including Pricing/Discount functionality, Service Orders and Sales & Distribution
• Commercial acumen related to revenue, pricing and tender activity
• Strong knowledge of logistics
• Advanced Excel skills

The below skills are highly regarded:

• Tertiary education in inventory management, logistics, accounting or similar
• Demonstrated understanding of finance and P&L analysis 
• Understanding of Mechanical and Electrical & Instrumentation products
• Demonstrated ability to influence staff and drive continuous improvement, in particular high levels of internal and external customer service
