Education Level: Diploma in Vocational / TESDA / Industrial Training Institute (ITI) is an advantage. Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC)

  • Insulator is responsible in fitting, wrapping, or attaching insulating materials to structures of surfaces, cutting, under coating, and fixing of aluminium tape, using hand tools or wires following blueprint specifications.

Skills & Experience

  • 3-5 years’ experience as insulator in HVAC manufacturing or related industry.
  • Ability to read and understand insulation drawing.
  • Familiar with measuring instruments.
  • Good verbal and written communication in English is an advantage

  • Knowledgeable in practical application of principles, procedures, & techniques in HVAC production of various goods and services.
  • Knowledgeable in HVAC tool’s operation, usage, maintenance, and designs.

Duties, Responsibilities & Authorities

  • Fits, wraps, or attaches insulating materials to structures of surfaces, using hand tools or wires
  • Performs independently cutting and fixing of fiberglass insulation
  • Covers seals or finishes insulated surfaces or access holes with plastic covers, canvas ships, sealant, tape, cement or asphalt mastic
  • Ensures and achieve optimum level of production output, better quality of insulation work by following insulation drawings, procedures, quality procedures and chargehand / foreman’s instructions
  • Performs the insulation process by taking extra care while cutting fibre glass insulation, apply glue by spraying glue with controlled glue gun distance, glue flow & air pressure
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality forms
  • Set up the machine at the beginning of shift to ensure it is properly working.
  • Maintain in appropriate order and clean machines and tools before and after each shift.
  • Report immediately to chargehand/foreman any unsafe working condition noticed in the working area or on machine.
  • Identify and report to the chargehand/foreman material in progress, completed, rejection accordingly.
  • Reports for work “on-time”.
  • Achieves production targets by performing operation in the given time.
  • Wear Protective Preventive Equipment (PPE) in the work area at all times.
  • Maintains a high level of safety at all times.
  • Maintains clean working environment by complying with company procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Performs efficiently and effectively any other tasks to be assigned by the Chargehand / Foreman.

  • Commitment to deliver effective service to all parties dealing with them.
