Silver Jubilee season of the popular family destination is all set to welcome visitors starting from October 25 of this year. the world’s largest tourism, leisure, shopping and entertainment project announced the return with a video post on twitter. The admission fee will remain unchanged at AED 15 per person for the 2020-21 edition and will run until April 2021.
After the outbreak of Covid-19, all public attractions were closed or suspended the visits for some months and Dubai has been at the front for providing good health and safety strategy in place to help the all establishments reopen responsibly.
The wellbeing of guests will be the top priority of this Season 25, with the family destination already recognised as the first theme park in the world to win the “Sword of Honour” from the British Safety Council for their high standards of safety management.
Global Village has also received the Dubai Assured Stamp awarded by Dubai Municipality, Dubai Economy and Dubai Tourism (DTCM) in light of the stringent preparations for the opening.
The festival park is targeting a footfall of over seven million visitors this year, and has opened registrations for more than 2,000 opportunities to investors.
It is best known for its celebration of diversity and multiculturalism, with over 3,500 shopping outlets from more than 78 countries – as well as over 20,000 entertainment and cultural shows.
Running for 25 weeks this year, visitors will, for the first time in many years, be able to enjoy Ramadan at the park – including the opportunity to sample world cuisines for Iftar.
The return of the attraction promises to provide a much-anticipated respite in the midst of the ongoing pandemic for tourists and residents alike.
The 25th season of Dubai’s Global Village will open this year to the public on October 25.
The silver jubilee season will feature the American Franchise Ripley’s Believe It or Not! museum attraction, in addition to dining, shopping, entertainment and other attractions.
The world-leading multicultural festival park
Global Village will remain open for 25 weeks until April 2021, which means visitors will be able to experience Ramadan at the popular family venue, located on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road in Dubai.
Earlier this year several family and entertainment destinations were temporarily closed to contain the spread of Covid-19 in the UAE. Starting July, many of the attractions including IMG World of Adventures, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi, Wild Wadi Park, among others have reopened, with strict health and safety measures being put in place.
CEO of Global Village, Bader Anwahi, said that since its inception the destination has become “a mainstay for family entertainment across the region”.
Geared up for the new season, Global Village has put in place various health and safety measures for visitors.
